Business for the Unengaged Summit

Problem: The last unengaged are often in locations resistant to all but business. So how do we create a network that can get the right people (entrepreneurs) in the right places? The summit is not intended to provide context-specific solutions, but rather to build the conversation and the networks needed to follow where the Holy Spirit will lead us across many contexts.
8:30 – 10:00 Session 1: The Right Places
- 20 minutes Worship
- 20 minutes Can business overcome the challenge of the unengaged? (Doug Lucas)
- 20 minutes We need a new business model, a new kind of worker, a new preparation and a new funding model for last of the Bibleless Unengaged (Greg Pruett)

1:30-3:00 Session 3: The Right Preparation
- 20 minutes Worship
- 20 minutes What is the current approach to offering a Certificate in Business as Mission? (Ross O’brien)
- 25 minutes How do we recruit and prepare/educate a stream of the right people? (Neal Johnson)
- 25 minutes Discussion: How do we need to change how we train and recruit in order to attract entrepreneurs? (At Tables)

3:30-5:00 Session 4: The Right Funding
- 30 minutes How do we overcome legal problems? (Jack Straus)
- 20 minutes What new funding models will work for entrepreneurs? (Neal Johnson)
