Tim and Elizabeth Harrison

Serving the Unreached People Groups of East Africa

Tim and Elizabeth met at Lincoln Christian University (LCU) while preparing to work cross-culturally. They married in 2004. After finishing at LCU, they both went to nursing school in Southern Illinois at John A. Logan College. During this time Tim worked in youth ministry and Elizabeth in healthcare.

Tim and Elizabeth served with AfricaHope in Kenya from 2011 to 2016. Tim focused on church planting, discipleship, and leadership development among rural church leaders. Elizabeth facilitated Community Health Evangelism (CHE) in rural Maasai areas promoting holistic health and providing education on nutrition, maternal health, childhood diseases, and environmental health.

Tim and Elizabeth are joining Pioneer Bible Translators’ East Africa branch. Tim will serve as a Scripture Impact Specialist, teaching people how to study and apply God’s Word to their lives.
