Deep in the heart of the Sahara Desert lives a people group, 5 million strong, with a enduring heritage and rich culture. They have a profound allegiance to the Creator God, but do not know the full story of God’s redemption, as revealed in the Scriptures. It is a place where there is still no church, and no Scripture in the heart language. Therefore, a small team of locals and international partners are working together to translate God’s word into the Sonomo language. We pray that access to God’s word will draw more people into God’s redemptive story, and will play a large role in the formation of a growing, multiplying church among this language group.
