Because prayer is the strategy of Pioneer Bible Translators, our worldwide team intentionally sets aside a day of fasting and prayer every month. On this day, we join in unified prayer, offering up to our Father praises and requests compiled especially for this day. Please join this concert of prayer today by praying with us for some of our strategic six-year goals.
- Father, please guide us in producing solid gold, life-changing, well-used, transformational translations that help make disciples and build the church.
- Lord, please help us identify language communities that are not using their translated Scriptures, and help us determine which type of transformational access strategies to implement.
- Please help us develop a pipeline of workers for sign language Bible translation through strengthening and discipling Deaf churches and training Deaf pastors to multiply Deaf disciples and missionaries.
- As we seek to grow our workforce, please help our mobilizers develop partnerships with Hispanic, Asian, Black, and other church communities in which the Holy Spirit is currently inspiring movements of great passion to participate in Jesus’ mission.
- Lord, please guide our fields in recruiting and training new teammates from their local contexts, surrounding language communities, and adjacent nations to serve as missionaries.
- Lord, help us identify women and men who are blessed with spiritual gifts suited to leadership and management, and help us prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Lord, help us to truly make prayer the strategy on which we depend. Help us make worship and gratitude daily habits.
- As we increase in diversity, help us learn to honor diverse points of view while striving to maintain Christian unity based on reading and obeying the Bible and living out the values of the Church in Acts 2 and Acts 4.
- In the midst of the increasingly destructive signs of the end of the age all around us, please enable us to fulfill our purpose of spreading the Good News about following Jesus to every language community.
- “This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: ‘In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength’” (Isaiah 30:15 NIV). Lord, help us live this out as a community, relying on your presence for victory rather than on worldly means of acceleration.
