Account Authentication Program

Program Description

Pioneer Bible Translators uses text messaging to send one-time passcodes (OTPs) and account-verification codes to donors and supporters who are signing in to, or verifying their identity on, the Pioneer Bible Translators donation portal. These messages are transactional authentication messages only. They contain login and verification codes and do not include marketing, promotional, or fundraising content.
Messages are triggered by your own action — such as signing in or requesting a verification code — and are sent on behalf of Pioneer Bible Translators.

Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box during account creation or login, you expressly consent to receive automated authentication text messages from Pioneer Bible Translators at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Authentication messages are sent only in response to your sign-in or verification requests; you will receive a message each time you request a code.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details on applicable fees. Pioneer Bible Translators does not charge for text messages; however, standard carrier rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving these text messages at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and will no longer receive authentication text messages from this program. To resume receiving codes, reply START to the same number.
Opting out of authentication messages may affect your ability to sign in to your giving account using text-based verification.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier. Pioneer Bible Translators and wireless carriers are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use this messaging service.

Privacy Policy

The collection and use of your mobile phone number and any personal information provided in connection with this program is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://pioneerbible.org/privacy-policy. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared or sold to third parties. We will not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Eligibility

This program is available to residents of the United States. By participating, you represent that you are the account holder or have permission from the account holder for the mobile number provided, and that you are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
