“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” (Psalm 95:1,2 NIV) Thank you, God, for the many ways you fill our lives with your abundant blessings. We thank you especially for your Word and for giving us the privilege of sharing this blessing with others.

“For to us a child is born, … and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6 NIV). God, we pray that the significance of Jesus’ birth will become known throughout the world.

God, we pray that Christ’s followers all around the globe will shine the light of God’s presence despite difficult circumstances.
