Scripture Impact – Bembe Refugees

“I really feel touched that I’m finally holding in my hands a Bible written in the language that my mother used to tell me when I was still in the womb.” – Jean Marie

The Bembe people in Fort Worth, Texas have not had access to Scripture in their own language since they came to the United States as refugees. With the help of our partner organizations, Pioneer Bible Translators was able to provide the church with a copy of the full Bible and 20 New Testaments in the Bembe language. Hear from Pastor Joseph and Elder Jean Marie as they celebrate having the Bible in their own language.
