Because prayer is the strategy of Pioneer Bible Translators, our worldwide team intentionally sets aside a day of fasting and prayer every month. On this day, we join in unified prayer, offering up to our Father praises and requests collected especially for this day. Please join this concert of prayer today by praying with us for our teammates and the people among whom they serve.

This month we are focusing our prayers on the worldwide Bible translation movement. We are lifting up Pioneer Bible Translators’ strategic long-term requests and petitioning our Father in unity with our partners in the illumiNations Collective Impact Alliance. Please join us in praying for the day when every person on Earth will have access to God’s Word.

• • • May we and our partners see churches with Scripture transforming every language group on Earth by 2050.
    • “Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes” (2 Thessalonians 3:1). Lord, please work through us to rapidly spread the Word and call people to honor it by following Jesus, getting baptized, and gathering into churches.
    • Please help our team have perfect unity and grow in ethnic diversity so that the world may believe that Jesus is for everyone.
    • God, please increase our language programs from 131 to 164 by 2027.
    • God, please help us start seven Action Bible Sign Language or verse-by-verse sign language projects by 2030, and please help us complete the translation of the Action Bible Sign Language in three languages by 2030.
    • God, please help us in the illumiNations Impact Alliance translate full Bibles for all languages with over 500,000 speakers by 2033.
    • God, please help us in the illumiNations Impact Alliance translate New Testaments for all languages with over 5,000 speakers by 2033.
    • God, please help us in the illumiNations Impact Alliance translate portions of the Bible for all viable languages with fewer than 5,000 speakers by 2033.
    • God, please help us in the illumiNations Impact Alliance ensure that the world’s 100 most strategic written languages have at least two translations of the Bible by 2033.
