Elisabeth is a Toma woman in West Africa. Her husband left her and their six children a few years ago.
This abandonment left Elisabeth in a difficult position. As a single mother with limited income, her life was a struggle.
Elisabeth’s family wanted to look after her children, but she chose to keep them with her so she could teach them to follow Jesus.
You helped provide God’s Word to Elisabeth so she could raise her children to know Jesus.
“I want my children to have the Word of God,” she shared. “Others may have more resources, but those are earthly. I want my children to have eternal life.”
You helped provide God’s Word to Elisabeth. Her audio New Testament has been an important part of her faith journey.
“If I’m walking along the road, if I’m out in the country, if I’m at work, if I’m lying down in my house, I’m listening to the Word of God,” Elisabeth said.
Even through her own difficulties, Elisabeth counsels friends to give their problems over to God. Her story of what Jesus has done for her is a strong testimony!
