Because prayer is the strategy of Pioneer Bible Translators, our worldwide team intentionally sets aside a day of fasting and prayer every month. On this day, we join in unified prayer, offering up to our Father praises and requests collected especially for this day.
This month we are focusing our prayers on the worldwide Bible translation movement. We are lifting up Pioneer Bible Translators’ strategic long-term requests and petitioning our Father in unity with our partners in the illumiNations Collective Impact Alliance. Please join us in praying for the day when every person on Earth will have access to God’s Word.
- May we and our partners see churches with Scripture transforming every language group on Earth by 2050.
- “Enable your servants to speak your Word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus” (Acts 4:29-30). Make us bold, and work powerfully among us to help more people decide to follow Jesus, get baptized, and gather into churches.
- Please help our team have perfect unity and grow in ethnic diversity so that the world may believe that Jesus is for everyone.
- Lord, please help the illumiNations Collective Impact Alliance and your church translate the whole Bible for languages with more than 500,000 people by 2033.
- Lord, please help the illumiNations Collective Impact Alliance and your church translate the New Testament for every viable language with more than 5,000 people by 2033.
- Lord, please help the illumiNations Collective Impact Alliance and your church translate 25 chapters of Scripture for every viable language with less than 5,000 people by 2033.
