Because prayer is the strategy of Pioneer Bible Translators, our worldwide team intentionally sets aside a day of fasting and prayer every month. On this day, we join in unified prayer, offering up to our Father praises and requests collected especially for this day. • Lord, we praise you for keeping our teammates in the Nile River region of Africa safe in the midst of instability and sickness. Thank you for your wisdom and grace as these teammates have navigated many challenging situations.
• Thank you, Father, for answering our prayers for the Toma Bible dedication in West Africa in June. Thank you that the dedication festivities were a great encouragement to the Toma church, and thank you that they are looking at ways to encourage literacy and Scripture engagement.
• Lord, we pray that translation training for a group of potential Bible translators in West Africa’s Gulf Coast will go well. Please use this training course to make it clear to the local translation board which attendees should be chosen to begin translating your Word.
• Lord, please provide someone to assist in a Scripture impact project among a refugee community in Fort Worth.
• Thank you, Lord, for raising up teammates with a passion and vision for serving refugees who have settled in the southeastern U.S. Please direct them to the people group on whom you would have them focus during this season of ministry.
• Lord, please help us identify unreached people groups among the immigrants who have arrived in Europe from difficult-to-access places. Please guide potential teammates as they consider meeting Bible translation and discipleship needs among some of these groups.
• God, please add two new full-time resident training coaches to our formation team in Dallas.
• Lord Jesus, thank you for continuing to add teammates to our Deaf Ministries. Please empower us to equip them for impactful service among the world’s Deaf communities.
• Thank you, Lord, that construction of our new Global Sending and Sign Language Center is underway. Please grant wisdom to our teammates who are working most closely with the contractor as decisions need to be made.
