The Reality
This internship sits at a unique intersection of missions and data-driven strategy. Working in collaboration with a strategic partner organization, you’ll help transform raw data into meaningful insights that accelerate global literacy and development. Pioneer Bible Translators will handle your training, holistic care, and integration into our Dallas intern cohort (where you’ll live, pray, and engage in local outreach together), while our partner org directly supervises your day-to-day analytics projects. Because your supervisor will be off-site, you’ll also learn how to juggle remote collaboration while being physically based in our Dallas office. Ministry data is often messy and scattered, but if you’re passionate about using analytics to solve real-world problems and drive lasting Kingdom impact, this role is for you.
What You Might Actually Do
Full transparency: Working under off-site supervision requires high adaptability, proactive communication, and self-management.
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and structure raw datasets from ongoing partner initiatives, organizational efforts, and international field projects.
- Remote Collaboration: Navigate working with an off-site supervisor from an in-office environment, taking ownership of project timelines and maintaining clear, proactive communication.
- KPI Tracking & Analysis: Track, evaluate, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress toward strategic goals.
- Global Research: Conduct analytical research focused on language use, cultural dynamics, and global mobilization trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Actionable Reporting: Translate complex data and statistical trends into clear, accessible reports and visual summaries for partner leadership and internal teams.
Who This Is For
- Required Mindset: Highly self-directed, comfortable with remote/off-site management, curiosity-driven, humble, adaptable, and excited to use data to drive human flourishing.
- Target Majors: Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related degree programs (Minimum 2 years required).
- Core Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, basic proficiency in Microsoft apps (Excel/Office), clear written communication, and prior experience in data analysis or research (preferred, but not required).
