The Reality
Based at our Dallas headquarters, this role focuses on the unsung hero of mission work: building the systems, data pipelines, and recruitment strategies that turn inspiration into action. You’ll spend the summer designing the backend infrastructure that connects future missionaries to the field, paired with a one-week hands-on immersion in Louisville, KY to see scripture engagement and translation in action. You won’t be doing this in isolation. You’ll be part of a vibrant cohort of Dallas-based interns to live and pray with, engage in local DFW evangelism alongside, and get plugged into local churches and area ministries together.
What You Might Actually Do
- Systems & Process Documentation: Perform data entry, cleanup, and build custom project management templates and operational documentation in Fibery and Google Workspace to streamline mobilization workflows.
- Pipeline & Outreach Expansion: Research new target universities, colleges, and conferences, initiating strategic outreach to build new recruitment pipelines.
- Content & Resource Development: Design mobilization resources and collaborate with Communications and Marketing to write targeted email campaigns and social media content for diverse audiences.
- Field Exposure (Louisville): Spend a week with our team in Louisville who is serving with East African refugee communities to gain direct exposure to minority-language Bible translation, literacy programs, and scripture engagement. (This is TBD.)
- Team & Prayer Rhythm: Participate in weekly mobilization strategy meetings, dedicated prayer partnerships, and coaching sessions designed to sharpen your vision for activating God’s people.
Who This Is For
- Required Mindset: Highly mission-driven, administratively gifted, deeply teachable, and a self-starting go-getter who takes initiative to inspire, disciple, and activate others to love and obey God’s Word.
- Target Majors: Open to all majors (Minimum 2 years completed).
- Non-Negotiables: Exceptional written and verbal English communication, proficiency in Google Workspace, documentation skills, and familiarity with CRM or project management tools (or a strong willingness to learn database systems like Fibery quickly).
- Bonus Points: Experience in university admissions, student recruiting, guest services, event management, or administrative support roles.
